Good morning everyone!
Today is January 6. I can't believe I am up at this hour, let alone blogging.
But, here I am. 5:09am.
Yesterday, was my third bladder installation.
So far, I am not sick, but it was excruciatingly painful.
Thank God I have a pain doctor now.
One day at a time.
Physical Therapy has been going better.
The first time, she thought i was turning into a demon.....LOL!
It was a rough day for me. (I'll leave it like that!)
Lookin up! Not down!
Goin turn this thing around!

I am a newly diagnosed IC paitent. This disease has changed my perspective on life. I am learning to adjust to the physical limitations it brings as well as the mental and emotional ups and downs that accompany any illness. I am becoming more Thankful and grateful for what I am able to do, and have a new appreciation for anyone that suffers with Chronic pain. Join with me to encourage others with IC, and offer HOPE!
WHAT IS IC?
IC/PBS- Interstitial Cystitis, also known as painful bladder syndrome, is a disease of the bladder, that results in recurring discomfort or pain in the bladder and/or the surrounding pelvic region.
The symptons can vary greatly between individuals and even for the same person throughtout the month.
Symptoms include: a frequent need to urinate,
pressure, and pain
urgency to urinate
pains levels range from mild tenderness to intense, agonizing pain.
